End of Phase 2

And I was out of town... derailed for a week with NO workouts! And no pics, either.

I don't sense any change for the end of Phase 2, unfortunately.

Now I'm back on track, but a week behind- and hitting Phase 3 best I can. The holidays are just NOT the time for me to have good healthy eating! But such is life... and I knew it when I started, that I would have the holiday bump in here to mess up the X-round. But again... this isn't just for 90 days; this is for life and although I have my short-term goals, the big picture is to get fit and stay fit for life. Not just 90 days.

Anyway- goals for 2009:

Still on the 130 by 1/30 goal. I was almost there last year, but then the holidays came in. I got down to 132 for a bit, but now I'm back up to around 134/135 again. Still, it's not bad- as it looks like I might've managed to maintain through the holidays for the most part. NOT gaining a minimum of 5 lbs or more like I do many times. Can't complain really- considering how I haven't cut out the treats! One month left- to get down to 130... and then STAY there.

Finish P90X by my birthday. Again, I'm a week behind, but I might still count it. Instead of ending it on recovery week, I will end it on the last workout week- and then still do the recovery week workouts after that. Close enough for the workout hand grenades.

Add in the 2009 in 2009 goal. To try to accumulate 2009 miles in the year- either by walking, running or biking. Averages out to 5.5 miles per day- which will mean I will have to BUST BUTT if I want to achieve that one! I might be in over my head with this one- but we'll see.

More of the X and maybe some ChaLEAN Extreme during the year? Not sure yet, because I don't have ChaLEAN yet. It's expensive! And so I'm not sure when I will get it. But I have so many workouts in my arsenal anyway- I'm in no hurry. Jillian is always still waiting to bust my butt some more- and for less time than it takes to do the X.

I am happy that I keep seeing the definition showing up in my arms. I've always wanted arms that didn't look like sausages from shoulder to elbow- and maybe this year I will finally get past that!

I'm still wanting to work on my running... and get to where I can do a 5K (3 miles) without having to stop and walk. I haven't gone out to run in months (since it got cold, and since I started the X) but I still plan to work on that. I have new running shoes too- but haven't worn them yet because I haven't gone out to run. I can't wear them UNLESS I'm going out to run, so they are still sitting here, brand new. It's usually a good incentive- but when it's cold out, all incentives go out the window. ;-)

Eating needs to be cleaner, as usual- but I don't have any specific goals for that. I just know it's hard for me to cut out treats COMPLETELY but I surely need to cut back. Michi's Ladder... Michi's Ladder... Michi's Ladder...

Drink more water. Always something to work on. And putting less "stuff" into my coffee, too. Lately I've been doctoring it up quite a bit, and they've been heavy coffees. Gotta stop doing that, because it's counteractive.

We got a Wii Fit for Christmas- so I need to make use of that, too. And fight the kids off the Wii when I can. Or better yet- get the kids to DO the Wii Fit instead of the other games! But we'll see.

Not happy with the body fat still... but happy with the muscle development underneath. So the X workouts are working to build muscle, but the diet isn't helping to shed the fat.
