Chest & Back, ARX

Oh, a tough one!!! But I'm excited that I'm already seeing some improvements! I'm still such an upper-body wimp... but it's cool to see it changing even when it's only the second time to do this workout!

I was excited that I could do 15 pushups on my toes before dropping down to do 15 more on my knees. I didn't do that well last week. Just last week! So that's very cool. I love how strong I felt when I started!!! (I was a smushy noodle by the time I was done though- but it's doing the work on me, I can tell.)

I'm excited that I felt stronger on the pull-ups too- although I still can't do one without using the chair for assistance. I can feel the muscles in my arms, back and shoulders as I pull up. Muscles that seemed nonexistent last week. Just last week!!

I was also excited that I did about THREE dive-bomber pushups this time before I lost my form and starting finding my thighs hitting the floor. Last week I couldn't do it at all without my thighs dropping down (because my arms/lats couldn't hold my upper body weight up enough). So that's encouraging to say the least- that I could improve that much in just one week.

This is VERY empowering!!!! Wooohoooo!!

I also nabbed a few photos in an attempt to capture the changes I'm already seeing in my arms since I started the X. Some definition is slowly showing up!! I love it!!!

It really motivates me to keep on going - and test the Classic version and see just what it will do for me. :-) And if time flies like it always does through the holidays... all I have to do is just keep on doing this, and before I know it, January will be here and I will be on the last phase. No counting the days... I'm counting the weeks and months. Makes it seem MUCH less like a long drawn-out chore.
