Just because I've sent out numerous Shakeology samples recently to friends and family, I thought it might be good if I posted some of my favorite recipes to add to the ones that arrived with the samples. As for the recipes in the packets I send, I enjoy the chocolate mint, pumpkin, peanut butter types the most.
Chocolate Mint-
3/4-1 c. skim or almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (optional, as it doesn't change the flavor)
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
water (or ice) to suit taste
If I want a protein boost, I might also add a scoop of Beachbody chocolate whey protein, or 1/4 c. cottage cheese to any of these blends.
Chocolate Peanut Butter-
3/4-1 c. skim or almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (again- optional)
1.5 Tbsp peanut butter
1/8 tsp vanilla or almond extract (gives it a yummy just-baked smell, like a cookie)
water (or ice) to suit taste
Honey-Banana-Peanut Butter-
3/4 c. skim or almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (again- optional)
1.5 Tbsp peanut butter
1 small banana
1 tsp honey
1/8 tsp vanilla or almond extract (gives it a yummy just-baked smell, like a cookie)
water (or ice) to suit taste
Sometimes I also like to add more texture/fiber by adding some quick oats (no more than 1/4 c) to any recipe blend.
Chocolate Banana Split Sundae
3/4 c. skim or almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (again- optional)
1 small banana (or half of a larger one)
1/2 c. fresh strawberry halves (or use frozen)
1/8 tsp vanilla or almond extract (gives it a yummy just-baked smell, like a cookie)
water (or ice) to suit taste
Chocolate Orange (tastes surprisingly like that orange-flavored chocolate candy, shaped like a ball)
3/4-1 c. orange juice
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (again- optional)
1/4 c. cottage cheese (optional- but this gives it a creamier texture)
1/8 tsp vanilla or almond extract (gives it a yummy just-baked smell, like a cookie)
water (or ice) to suit taste
Almond Joy
3/4-1 c. skim or almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (again- optional)
2 tsp almond butter
1/8 tsp almond extract
1/4 tsp coconut extract
water (or ice) to suit taste
Mounds
3/4-1 c. skim or almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (again- optional)
1 scoop Beachbody chocolate whey protein
1/8 tsp vanilla extract (or chocolate extract)
1/4 tsp coconut extract
water (or ice) to suit taste
Mocha Shakeology
3/4-1 c. skim or almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
1 scoop Shakeology fiber boost (optional)
2 tsp instant coffee
water (or ice) to suit taste
