It's done! And I'm toast!!
I'm such an upper-body weakling. This workout is HARD. And it's mean- because it hits me in all my weakest areas. But hopefully that means I will also see the most improvement in this workout as I make my way through the program, too. It will work the areas that I need to work the most.
Last time I got to where I could do about 1.5 chin-ups- but now I can't even do one! So I'm using the chair (well, a stool) for assistance on every pull-up move. I will get up there, and then try to allow a slow drop-down. But once I start sensing that I am using my leg more than my arms to get up there, I know I'm DONE.
On the pushups... I tried what I could on my toes, but most of it was on my knees. Again, I used to be stronger in that aspect too- so I know I will get there. It's just like starting at ground level again this time though! Sucks! But I have to keep remembering that I used to be able to do it, and just keep on going. I have a lot of hard work ahead of me.
Everything is gonna HURT tomorrow... but it's great to know that I'll be sculpting the muscles again. Change WILL happen!
