P90 Masters

Thought I'd "try something new" today... and do a workout that I hadn't touched in a long, long time. I think it might've been over a year since I did any of the P90 Master Series! So today I pulled out Cardio Intervals... and it was tough! I remember a time when it wasn't as tough... so I know my fitness level is not where it once was (a duh- but still, I like to think I'm at least getting close- but I'm not all that close).

It was a good workout!! I didn't quite make it all the way through, as my Dad came over near the end, and I had to stop. Trying to keep going (and sweating, huffing and puffing) while trying to talk to him, or having him sit there and WATCH... uh, no- that wasn't happening! So some day soon, I'll have to put it back in and try it again. And hopefully I will be able to better next time, too. It was like a brand new workout for me today- as I'd forgotten completely what the routine was, or what to expect! It really is something that is in between the regular P90 workouts and the P90X workouts. It mixes in levels/moves of both ends of the spectrum. And it's cool that you can modify any or all of it all the way through- depending on your current fitness level.

Eating today was not horrible, but not great. Seems like my typical though- especially lately. I really do need to eat cleaner if I want ANY results. But I do feel like my body is tighter and firmer now than I did this time last month. I know I'm making improvements- but it bites that my jeans are still just as tight, ans the scale isn't budging! I do hope something starts to change soon. It's just discouraging even though I know this stuff isn't instant.
