Turbo Jam

Well, sort of. Yesterday I thought I would try doing "something short" after being sick (and coughing up a lung all week) so I picked out a 30-minute one. Turbo Jam's Cardio Party Remix Live. Just 30 minutes... but it took only 5 of it to get me coughing!!! Too much cardio for these lungs to handle still!!!! Auuuggghhhh!!!

But I still tried to get through as much as I could, and started modifying the intense stuff to basic stuff- like leaving out the jumpy moves and staying on the ground. It was LAME!!!!! I know- it was all I could do- but compared to the usual Turbo workout, it was LAME!

And I ended up skipping both of the Turbo's they had, too. It would've been waaaaay too much heavy breathing for my lungs to handle.

Today I'm still coughing but it seems to be easing up. FINALLY. But I didn't do any workouts. Though my Dad did come over and dragged us all out geocaching for a short while. Just a short while... turned into 2.5 hrs! But it was still fun. I probably kicked up some dust and plant pollens and junk in the middle of it all, but once I got home, I did the Neti Pot and hopefully cleaned it out. I'm hoping that the Neti will keep the allergic stuff away- and maybe when spring rolls around, I won't have the usual sinus stuff hitting me. I won't wait until spring to start- I'm going to use that darn freaky thing every day from here on- and see if it makes a difference.

My sinuses haven't been bothering me all week but that old cough is what is still hanging on. Too bad the Neti can't wash out my throat the way it does to the nose and sinuses!

Anyway... today is the first day when I haven't felt like taking a nap in the afternoon all week. So I hope that means I'm getting over the crud, finally. It sucks to have been dragging for the last TWO weeks already. Enough!

Weigh-in for Friday... showed no change. Not surprised. But I am getting a bit freaked that my pants are probably not fitting me because of that Alien Pod. It's almost like I need maternity pants or something. Scary- having a uterus like I'm what... maybe 4 months pregnant now?? The last time I had it checked officially- they said it was like a 12-wk pregnancy. So I'm just guessing it might be 16-weeks by now. So it might be time to consider surgery for this summer, once my work semester is over. But it's odd to get surgery when I have NO symptoms of anything except just feeling that ball in there. I still have no change in my cycles or the amount of bleeding (not even breakthrough bleeding) or pain or ANYTHING. Just that ball. I can feel it if I lay on my belly on the floor (as in doing those Superman-banana moves in the X), or if I lean my hips up against the kitchen counter. Or if I'm bending down to do something to my socks or shoes. Otherwise, I don't notice a thing.

I wonder how much a fibroid-filled uterus can weigh???
