TurboFire 55

What an awesome workout!!! This is so far, my favorite of the Turbo Fire workouts!! But it's only just begun... so we'll see how long it keeps its current high ranking. But man- I love Fire 55 EZ!! It's not EASY but yet it's very do-able. I skipped the "new to class" feature this time, because the breaks tend to interfere with the rhythm of the workout. I might not mind the breaks in INSANITY (lol) but still- they do tend to interfere with the purpose of maintaining the intensity of the workout.

Anyway.. I love-love-love the way this workout is lined up and run! It's fun! It's easy to follow (although it was a little lost here and there) and it WORKS! My HR went from the 130's in the warm-up into the 160's when it got going. And stayed up in the 160's for most of the workout- which is what Insanity can do! But without the mental grind that Insanity can have... Turbo Fire is much more fun. It's AWESOME!!

Calories today have been low... I haven't been hungry to eat- just thirsty. Mowed the yard this morning, then while I was sweaty anyway- cranked out the workout. Drank P90X Recovery drink through and after the workout. Then was busy until lunch... and never really ate except for a flaky biscuit earlier.

Workout fluids: P90X Recovery drink (220 cal)
Breakfast: flaky biscuit (110 cal)
Lunch: Chocolate mint Shakeology (257 cal) YUM
Dinner: 6 oz ribeye, fried okra, salad with cherry tomatoes, sprinkle of shredded cheese (597 cal)

Breakdown for the day- (1184 calories)
Carb: 39%
Pro: 28%
Fat: 33%
Fiber: 17g (need at least 25g)

Was not hungry all morning... but then had to battle a major case of the snackies in the afternoon/evening!! I managed to avoid having anything totally junky for a snack- but dinner wasn't the healthiest.
