But the best thing today was when I went to put on the chest strap to my heart rate monitor. It was too loose and I had to tighten it to get it to fit right! Woohooo! I had some trouble with it not quite reading right yesterday- but didn't stop the workout to try to mess with the strap. So WOOHOOO that not even one full week of TurboFire has passed yet, but already I'm seeing some improvements happening!!! :-D
The scale hasn't budged yet- but I know it will eventually. I'm just glad that some measurable changes are already progressing!
I didn't have my Shakeology for breakfast this morning because I felt like having eggs instead. I cooked up scrambled eggs (1 whole egg plus 2 whites) with garlic and green pepper. With sliced tomato. Yum! The Shakeology came at lunchtime.
Breakfast: scrambled egg, garlic, green pepper & tomato (153 cal) Lunch: chocolate Shakeology with strawberries, banana, almond milk, almond butter, extract, fiber boost. (533 cal)- the almond butter really bumps up the fat cals- but at least it's a "good fat".
Dinner: Furr's buffet- spinach/strawberry/walnut salad, broccoli, carrots, fried catfish, meat loaf, sweet potatoes, green beans (just a bit of each) with chocolate cake and key lime pie for dessert. (820 cal) I gotta stop having the sweets for dessert... that's the toughest thing to say 'no' to...
Snack: coffee with dry creamer (43 cal)
Breakdown for the day- (1548 calories)
Carb: 51%
Pro: 20%
Fat: 29% (too high in fat for today)
Fiber: 31g (need at least 25g)
I really do need to cut out the sweet treats... it's my worst enemy.
