Playing Catch-Up

Let's see if I can even remember anything from my spring break trip...

Sat. March 10: sat on my butt all day in the van, for about 500 miles.
Sun. 11: geocached a little, maybe 0.5 miles total walking distance, slow speed. Then more sitting on my butt for driving another 240 miles.
Mon. 12: geocached around muddy parks, maybe walked about a mile or so total, slow speed. Not really what I could count as exercise, but it was fun! Spent about 30-40 minutes walking fast on treadmill. Some resistance work on weight machine in hotel exercise room.
Tues. 13: A little geocaching again today, but even less walking this time. Actually got in 2 Turbo Jam workouts in the hotel room! Also spent about 20 minutes on treadmill walking fast, later on. Skipped resistance work.
Wed. 14: No exercise, just more driving, about 240 miles and regular activity.
Thurs. 15: Some hiking/geocaching, but not strenuous. One steep trail lasting maybe 5 minutes max. Definitely not even a mile total!
Fri. 16: LOTS of hiking and steep rock scrambling! Great time with lots of movement, for 5 hrs. :-)
Sat. 17: Very little activity that qualifies as exercise.
Sun. 18: Sat on butt all day driving again, for almost 500 miles.
Mon. 19: Was going to do Kenpo, but never did.
Tues. 20: Did the Kenpo missed on Monday, and then was going to do Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and ARX later in the day, but never got to the CST.
Wed. 21: Will try to get CST and ARX in, but also have Cardio X scheduled for today as well. Not sure if I can double up and catch up today though! I'll be lucky to get ONE of those, not both.

So that's that. Only about 3-4 days of what I would call decent workouts, in all of the past 12 days. Not going well as far as regular exercise goes, but I know it's not the end of everything, either. I plan to keep on going and keep on doing what I can. I just know that I won't have the results with the X like I'd want with all the stops I've had these past couple of weeks. But I know eventually I will get it done. Never planned to just STOP once I hit Day 90 anyway!

Ate WAAAAY too much on the spring break trip, just like it was a real vacation (LOL)... and I paid for it by gaining about 2 pounds over the course of that week- with too many calories (too much of it from fat too, I'm sure of that)- and too little exercise to balance it out. Now that I'm back at home, I hope I can get a grasp on the food part again. I know it'll help to cut the fat intake just by not eating every meal 'out'- because restaurant food can be so rich and the portions so large!

But anyway, life goes on, and I know I haven't trashed all my efforts in just one week, just as I know I can't work miracles in fitness in just one week, either!

As always your attitude is awesome. Keep on trucking, girlfriend!
