Had a very good Cardio day today! I got in KenpoX and it was quite the sweatfest!
I started out using some weighted gloves, but by the time the first "break" came and those jumping jacks and X-jumps came... I ditched those gloves. LOL
It's still funny that the breaks can drum up my HR even more than the punching parts. Anyway... I was sweating like a madwoman by the time I was done... and loving that feeling of accomplishment you get, when you nail down a good old hard workout!
Lunch today was a healthy and yummy one, too. I made plain old canned tomato soup, but added in some veggie lentils (Bob's Red Mill mix), a little bit of wheat rotini pasta, and some cut fresh asparagus. Yum-O!!! I just wish asparagus didn't do that funky number on my urine though. Ugh on that smell!!! But oh well... at least I am always by myself when I pee, so no one has to deal with it but me...
It will be spaghetti for dinner tonight.
I had a dentist appointment yesterday morning, and one of my new goals for this year, is to make it a habit to FLOSS at least once each day. I do it sometimes, but it's just never a consistent thing. So I hope to get that worked in so it's a habit. I'm still working on that whole tartar factory thing that I seem to be (having to go get cleanings every FOUR months just to stay on top of it- ugh)- and maybe flossing more can help it. I'm going to try brushing more throughout the day, too.
