Power Half Hour- for an Hour

Did 2 of the Power Half Hour workouts this morning, back-to-back! Started with the Abs workout first, and whoooo.. that one makes me sweat! And then the Thighs one... and that one made my thighs GRIPE. Alot. After doing the Core moves yesterday, they were still sore. From one move specifically-- the Lunge-Kickback-Curl-Press move in the Core workout. I did them with 5-lb weights and my thighs were BURNING when I was done!! So today, when trying to kill the thighs again with the Thigh workout... ouch! I should've planned better, but I'd forgotten how hard the thighs got worked even in the Core workout. Double whammy!

So anyway, the workout felt great. And I didn't get pictures today, either. It gets in the way to try to take pictures... but I will try to get pics through the X program. We'll see how that goes. Just because it IS distracting to try to punch the timer on the camera and then get back to my workout. I end up missing some things, or having to catch the picture, but then backing up on the DVD to redo what I'd missed. But yeah- the picture thing does help me- just to show myself how I look when I'm doing some of the moves. And in some of them, I see how I might be able to improve on the form. And hopefully... before I get to the end, I myself, physically, will have better form too!

Gotta run... going over to Mom's to help make some chinese sticky rice things. Yum!
