Cardio X

Cardio X was today... and I remember when I used to think that workout was hard! But today, I felt like the first part just DRAGGED and was SO slow! It barely kept my heartrate up (maybe it did, I forgot to put on my HR monitor today). The last half though- was the way cardio SHOULD be! Just as I was getting going... it was over. Now I understand what people mean when they say that Cardio X just isn't tough enough. I never thought I'd be saying it myself, but now I am. Maybe in the future weeks, I will have to replace the Cardio with PlyoX, because I know Plyo gets my heart pumping like crazy, for MUCH longer.

I know I'd planned to substitute in Plyo now & then for boredom's sake... but now it might be substituted for allowing a tougher and more efficient workout.

Food-wise... I did well yesterday with bumping up my protein intake by alot. And I felt hungry most of the day, even with all I was eating. All good stuff. Today... well, not so good. I ended up with some biscuits with sausage (as a sandwich kind of thing) for breakfast. And then grocery-store sushi for lunch. So my fat intake today is much higher (due to those sausages) and I haven't been feeling hungry. But it's a bad kind of satiated feeling, because I know it's because of the fat, not because of decent food. I will have to make sure dinner is high in protein and low in fat for sure. Nothing can balance out the horrid breakfast, but I can at least not add to it!

But the good part about that sausage event, is that there is NO MORE sausage in the house, and I won't be buying any more.
