Cardio X

Whew! Cardio X today. Sweated buckets this time! I pushed myself as far as I wanted to push today, I think. Caught my HR up at 170 at one point and I thought that was enough. Brought it back down again after that, as I was panting and panting. Whew... trying to do the X after having a blood donation AND on my cycle at the same time. Sheesh... that was probably poor choice in timing for sure. I'm sure my body's crying out for more iron and trying to make more RBCs like a madman.

But I feel good that I did it okay, and didn't BONK, and that I got it in for the day. I had a busy day and never had a chance to even THINK about PPing until after I got the kids to bed. So there I was, 8pm- putting in the DVD! Not my usual time, but I didn't want to miss a day. Not yet, not this early in the game, and not when I really didn't need to skip.

One day, I will be able to do those X-jumps at the end of each Squat X-Press things in Cardio (done without weights, and at a fast rate). Today (and thus far) I have only enough energy at that point to just FINISH the round of plain squat X-presses.

And one day, I will be able to do the Chaturanga Iso's and Runs... today when I was going down with the Vinyasa for the Up Dog, I would stay down just a little longer before pushing up... just to do a mini-Chaturanga Iso right there. And today I felt like I was stronger while doing that than I was last week. Yay!

Tomorrow I will try to get the workout done in the morning. It's hard trying to do these at night like this. Food-wise, I don't think I ate enough. When I have work that day, I tend to miss lunch and end up with a HUGE gap between breakfast and some mid-afternoon meal. Not good, but it happens ALOT when I work. I'll have to start packing a protein bar with me or something.
