Shoulders/Arms, ARX

It's that time again... to pump up the arms! One of my favorite workouts, because my biceps are one of my stronger areas of my upper body, and because I can see/feel the improvements coming in my shoulders and triceps. It's a big thing that my shoulders and triceps are getting stronger because they have traditionally been quite weak when I first started working out a couple of years ago. They still have a ways to go- but they've come a long way!

Shoulders/Arms:
Alt. shoulder presses: 15r/10lb; 15r/10lb
In & out bicep curls: 16/10; 16/10
Two-arm tricep kickbacks: 12/8; 10/8
Deep swimmer's press: 15/8; 15/8
Full supination curls: 15/10; 17/10
Chair dips (straight leg): 22; 15
Upright rows: 17/8; 15/10
Static arm curls: 16/8; 16/8
Flip-grip tricep kickbacks: 8/8; 10/8
Two-angle shoulder flys: 16/5; 16/5
Crouching Cohen curls: 10/8; 12/8
Lying-down tricep extensions: 15/8; 12/8
In & out straight-arm shoulder flys: 12/8; 16/5
Congdon curls: 14/10; 15/10
Side tri-rises: 20r/20l; 17r/15l

Ab Ripper X:
In & out: 25
Seated Bicycle: 19/15 (felt REALLY puny)
Seated crunchy frog: 18 (doing fewer each time- ugh!)
Crossed/wide leg sit up: 12 (did wide leg; also fewer each time)
Fifer scissors: 20 (numbers increasing on these though- weird)
Hip rock & raise: 18 (numbers dropping)
Pulse-up: 25
Roll-up V combo: 12 (really felt puny on this one today)
Oblique V-up: 10l/8r (still VERY uncoordinated while doing these, but today felt more coordinated than ever before)
Leg climb: 12/12
Mason kayak twist: 30 (then went OOF)

Some improvements in some, some crash-and-burn in others. I think my blood donation is still affecting me. I feel okay but weaker in some way. Like I can't last as long. But I'm not what I'd call sick, either. Just tired. And tiring easily.

I've also heard that the second week of any of the tough workout programs can make you drag a bit, and your numbers can drop- but then you might gain strength again for week 3... so maybe that is part of the natural adjustment of the body, and not just something that is a result of the blood donation. I do hope I lose this weakly feeling soon though!
