Today was Day 1 and Core Synergistics. It's a tough workout (as if I didn't know that already) but I'm trying to really push myself with it rather than just lolly-gagging my way through. Didn't get any pictures... I was busy enough just tracking my numbers on things I could count/measure so I can see any improvements I might make later on:
Stacked-foot pushups: 17 (5 each side until that last 2- then OOF!)
Leaning crescent lunges: did all, using 0 weights (will try weights next time)
Sphinx pushups: 23
Prison cell pushups: 7 (with no middle pushup between the knee kicks)
Side hip raise: 20 each side
Squat X-press: 25/5lbs
Lunge kickback curl press: did all, 5lbs (whew!)
High & under pushups: did all, with some tumbling
Dreya rolls: 12 (no fancy moves yet)
Chaturanga: no chaturanga runs yet; did chaturanga iso on knees, lasted about 3-4 seconds down there. Oy- I need WORK on these!!! Maintained plank just fine though.
Table dip leg raise: 30 (15 each side) yay! but TOUGH
I'm all sweaty, enjoying my Recovery drink with a scoop of protein powder in it... and after I hit 'publish'... it's off to the shower.
