Week 3- Starts with Fire45 EZ

Fire45 EZ is not "easy"! It's awesome and fun though! But not easy... the workout starts with the usual warm-up... then it just KEEPS ON GOING! No breaks like you get in the other workouts where you have those Fire Drills or intervals. This one just goes from one set to another and repeat with the other lead, then moving on some more...

It's like the Turbo Fire version of Insanity's Pure Cardio- where once the workout gets going- it give you NO breaks until the end. I love it though- because it works my cardio endurance!! That's what I need for (hopefully) helping with my 5K running, too. I have to be able to keep up a certain HR pace- without breaks. With this one, I was in the 130's during the warm-up... then maintained an upper 150/lower160 range the rest of the time. Not until the cool-down did I slow down to 140's.

And then down to the 110's/120's in the Stretch10. As I'm sitting here typing this... it's in the 80's. :-)

So starts Week 3 of TurboFire!!

Breakfast: greenberry Shakeology blended with the juiced watermelon/grape/cucumber juice, plus fiber boost. (395 cal)
Lunch: remains of a hot dog kid didn't eat (I know, I know), salad with cherry tomatoes, cupcake (410 cal)
Dinner: Dad wanted a pizza buffet- salad with egg, green pepper, sunflower seeds, broccoli, then 2.5 slices pizza, then 2 cookies (892 cal)
Snack: vanilla protein smoothie with fresh cherries, almond milk (274 cal)

Breakdown for the day- (1970 calories)
Carb: 55%
Pro: 21%
Fat: 24%
Fiber: 30g (need at least 25g)

I know... I'd be doing much better if I'd cut out the sweet treats... my worst hurdle still.
