Walkin' the Dog

I had TJ Cardio Party scheduled for this morning, but it was just TOO gorgeous outside to stay in! So I took the dog out and let her walk me (powerwalk for sure!) for about 30 minutes, and then we walked at a more normal speed for about 10 more. Now I'm heading off for a shower and she is laying on the floor panting! lol

I might still get the Cardio Party done later anyway. Who says I have to limit myself to just one workout in a day if I (somehow) find the time and energy to do two?!? So the option is always open for more. :-)

The JM workouts are doing SOMETHING to me, even only after doing 2. This morning, I am feeling soreness in my hamstrings & glutes (from yesterday's Backside workout)... all the way up to the hips/saddlebag area. I don't know if I've ever actually felt sore under my saddlebags before! Usually it's down lower in the glute and not that high. So there is something in the JM workouts that is hitting a spot back there that doesn't seem to get touched often enough. (lol- did I just say my butt doesn't get touched enough?!?... lol) I'm starting to think that sometimes just mixing up the various workouts will do alot of good. They all work, but one might miss some spots that other workouts (thankfully) can pick up.

Breakfast was 3 egg whites (still have some dyed Easter eggs left!) and a bowl of cereal mixed. Cheerios with a flaky granola type. Not sure what is in store for the rest of the day's meals/snacks but I will try to make sure it's not another binge-fest like that buffet was yesterday! But at least I didn't add to it by having a big dinner. I just skipped dinner altogether. Although I know that the binge-then-starve method of eating is in NO WAY healthy- not like eating a balanced level/amount of foods all throughout the day- but at least I didn't just overeat the day's total. I really wasn't even hungry until this morning.

Not sure how to track the rest of the day though. Ended up at a pizza buffet for lunch... oy!!! Too much food again!

I did have some running this evening in the backyard with the kids. They kept wanting to have races from one fence to the other, so we were making laps back and forth. Whew!!! I haven't done any sprinting in too long! My body isn't used to that! I hope I can still move by tomorrow morning. :-P Dinner was at my Dad's house, and he cooked up a chinese dish, and I'm not even sure where to log it. Fats? Proteins? I have NO idea. It was beef tendon. Yummy the way he cooks it even though it sounds nasty, but I just don't know what category it goes into.
