JM ShapeUp Frontside and Bowling

Got my workout in early today! Yay! (Even before the kids were up) It was JM's Shape-Up Frontside workout this time. Another good one that had me asking "when will it end?!?" even though it was only 30 minutes long! I thnk part of that was because I did it first thing this morning, on an empty stomach. I could TELL I didn't have the energy level I usually do. But I hope I might've burned off some fat that I might not have, had I had fresh food flowing into my veins at the time. Gotta get at those old stores somehow! It was interesting to see that a couple of the moves are the same as Tony's. And there were others that were insane- but I know I will get better at it as time goes on. Her workouts really don't give you any down-time AT ALL. I was huffing and puffing all the way through. Serious cardio even though you're doing resistance work... all rolled into 30
'little' minutes. It's really not bad at all, for a home workout because it's tough but doesn't take forever to do.

Anyway, I'm not sure what food I'll be having today (more buffets?!?) but breakfast is just a protein/recovery drink with a tiny container (4 oz) of peach yogurt added in.

Snacking through the lunch hour... knowing that my Dad wants to do another buffet tonight with the family for dinner. So I just had 1/4 of a chicken patty that the kids are eating for lunch. I might have a protein bar or something too- since we are planning to go bowling shortly- but I'm kinda saving my calories for dinner tonight.

Went bowling this afternoon, and now my back is sore! Not an inured kind of sore, but just a you-worked-something-you-never-work kind of sore. It's hurting right in the center of my back, between the shoulder blades, but slightly off to the left side. I bowl with my right. Ouch! We also played with some video games, and one of them was an underwater shark-shooting one, where the "joystick" controllers would shake when you fired at the sharks... and so I was holding them tight and tensed up... I bet that didn't help my middle back rest any! I wonder if I can count a video game in WOWY?!? ;-)

Oy... can you say BUFFET yet again?!? We're calling it quits! Even the visiting family is saying "no more eating out" and said not to do it again for Monday night. lol But yeah- it's all delicious but man... too much food. I did try to keep it somewhat healthy though.. until I got dessert.
