Core X

I'm getting so tired of Core!!!! With the Lean version of the X, I think I'm doing it EVERY week and I'm starting to dread it! Some of it is easier, some of it isn't. It's still a very rough workout overall- even with some of it becoming easier... and I am constantly having to talk myself into starting it, then keeping it going rather than stopping. And when they hit that 'bonus round' near the end, I am always SO tempted to just call it a day... but then I make myself crank it out anyway- because it's SO close to the end by then. It's only what... 4 more moves past the rest of the workout anyway? But I'm telling ya- honestly, it is SUCH a mind game.

So here are the numbers, for what it's worth:
Stacked foot pushups: 9/8 (17 total) I need to work on better form- and keeping BOTH legs completely straight- because when I concentrate on making the legs straight, it's MUCH harder.
Banana roll: FINALLY! I can roll from one position to the next without having to push off with my hands or feet! It's taken THIS long, but I can do it now! The weakest turn though- is from belly to right side, for some reason.
Leaning Crescent lunges: used 0 weights
Squat run: used 5 lb weights
Sphinx pushups: 24
Low lateral skaters: did them with an attempt at a toe tap (hard!)
Lunge & reach: 8 lb weights
Prison cell pushups: 7, no middle pushup
Side hip raise: 26/24

Squat X-press: 25/5 lbs

Plank to Chaturanga run: did only plank run, rested at second Chat. part- just like last week. Also- from the picture, I can tell that I need to work on keeping my butt down lower. I am SOOO far from being able to do a Chaturanga run down low! But maybe one day.
Walking pushups: did okay but stopped when there was 10 secs left- oof! (tried to keep legs straight, butt down... and that makes it all that much harder)

Lunge kickback curl press: done; 5 lb weights

Towel hops: did one-legged toe hops (yeah, I dogged it)
Reach high & under pushups: 8
Steam engine: wore me out by this point!
Dreya roll: 10
Plank/Chaturanga Iso: did plank on toes, Chaturanga on knees
Halfback run: done (is it over yet?!??)
Table dip raise: 30 (15 each side)

Not sure why I feel draggy tonight. I ate enough about 2-3 hrs before, but maybe I didn't drink enough water before. It hit hard partway through & I was really feeling it. Muscles didn't want to move when I was wanting them to move! Overall, I probably haven't had enough to eat today either.

Work it, girl, work it! You are such an inspiration! You are doing an amazing job. I know what you mean about the "mind game" of just pressing that play button and going through with it!

Keep on truckin', sistah!
