Today was a day to wrap up the tough end of Week 7 with a BANG! I did Kenpo, but kicked up it by using 1-lb weighted gloves (as I have been doing) PLUS some 1.5 lbs ankle weights too! Woohoooo!! All of a sudden those kicking parts had some OOMPH to them! I loved it! It was just what I needed to keep Kenpo from getting too easy or too boring.
Tomorrow is "rest day" and then the start of recovery week (#8). Woohoooo!!! Almost to Day 60!
No food pictures so far today (lol) but I am trying to keep eating clean. Whole grain hot cereal this morning with a scoop of protein powder added, along with fresh blueberries and some walnuts. Lunch was some eel sushi (not very high in protein, probably more carbs than I need, but I didn't want them to sit and wait another day in the fridge...) I need more protein going still, so I will choose my snacks wisely.
