Yoga X

Why am I putting off the workouts every day until it's evening time- and then I HAVE to get it in then, or it doesn't get done?!??

Procrastination, Baby... procrastination. Because I'm still in my "funk" of not wanting to workout like I used to! I will find all sorts of OTHER things to do around the house to put off the workout some more! Auuggghhh on this feeling! But I do hope I can shake it soon. I used to love working out in the mornings, right after getting the kids to school (on my days off) but these past couple of days, it was like- drop off the kids, come home... and find SOMETHING else to do!

But I guess it's not too bad... I'm at least getting it in, even if it's not til evening, and I'm doing it with a semi-closed mind. :-P

But anyway, tonight it was Yoga X. Couldn't get up into the Crane this time around. My arms are still feeling it from yesterday's CST... but it's a good kind of sore. I usually don't like the Plough- and sometimes I just skip it altogether... but tonight, it felt good to get that back/shoulder and neck stretch. Some weeks that move hurts rather than stretches- but this time, it was a good stretch.

Did okay in Yoga Belly 7- though I am still not a big fan of ab-work!! I can tell those moves make you really work certain areas quite a bit though.

Trying to bump up the eating to a cleaner place. Bought some salmon & tilapia filets today, freezing a portion for other days or weeks. Also bought some canned tuna, and will try to incorporate it also- to get more protein going. Restocked my box of Protein Plus Power Bars, and found some fresh blueberries that wasn't too entirely expensive. I love putting fresh blueberries into my oatmeal! Or just having a bowl of cottage cheese with a sprinkling of Kashi Go Lean Crunch, fresh blueberries and walnuts. Yum! Makes for an easy snack or breakfast.

I also like getting a chicken breast, cooking it up on my George Foreman, cutting it up, then adding a little bit of mustard to it... and then eating them rolled up in a big leaf of romaine with whatever extras I want- black beans, corn, green peppers, tomatoes or salsa... like a chicken wrap, but with the lettuce as the wrapper and no tortilla!

I gotta stop talking like this... It's going to be 11pm soon, and I'm getting hungry!! But it's too late to eat now! Okay... so maybe some of my menu for tomorrow is mapped out for me as I go drool in my sleep... I hope I don't eat a pillow.
